A different perspective
Step Into It
Hi, I’m Maya. I’m in high school. This is a little of my story.
In short
- This is an optional visual story, not a dyslexia test.
- Dyslexia feels different for everyone.
- Calm mode keeps every scene still.
Maya is a fictional student. These visual moments illustrate barriers. They do not recreate dyslexia or show how dyslexic people see text.
A few moments in my shoes.
Some decorative words and numbers will move. My story stays easy to read. You can stop whenever you want.
What is really going on
Dyslexia is a difference in how the brain links sounds to letters. It is not seeing backwards. It is not about intelligence. As many as 15 to 20% of people have some signs of dyslexia.
